‘’Thelma & Louise’’ at Videology Bar & Cinema, New York

Videology Bar & Cinema in New York hosts the screening of the 1991 American road film "Thelma & Louise."

The film is directed by the English film director and producer Ridley Scott and the screenplay is written by the American film and television screenwriter, producer, and director Callie Khouri. The narrative explores a short fishing trip embarked by the meek housewife Thelma along with her friend, the independent waitress, Louise. Their circumstances got changed as they entangle themselves in a confused situation by accidentally killing a man who tries to rape Thelma at a bar.

The film stands out to be one of the most successful movies in the box office and nominated for six Academy Awards and in 2018 the film was announced ‘culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant’ by the United States Library of Congress.
